

It wasn’t until The Sims 4 that we started seeing new types of packs (game packs, kits) besides the traditional expansion and stuff packs.

In the beginning, we only had expansions. The Sims had no official stuff packs, as these were introduced in The Sims 2. There were also numerous other expansion pack bundles released over the years that contained between one and three expansions each (and no exclusive content). This was the last edition released for The Sims. Just like it sounds, this compilation includes The Sims base game and ALL expansion packs. Livin’ Large was called “Livin’ it Up,” and Vacation was called “On Holiday.” The Sims: Ultimate Collection This edition was only available in Europe and the expansion pack names were slightly different. Includes the base game plus the Livin’ Large, House Party, and Vacation expansion packs. Includes the base game plus the Livin’ Large, House Party, and Hot Date expansion packs.

This was the first stuff pack prototype for The Sims. Also includes a bonus disc containing exclusive African and Asian-themed skins, objects, walls and floors.
